BYD Pakistan has unveiled its lineup of vehicles set for launch in the country. The three models showcased were the Atto 3 (EV), Seal (EV), and Sealion 6 (PHEV).

The brand launch event featured prominent figures such as Mega Motors and BYD officials, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurengzeb, former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and the company’s dealers.
Expansion Plans
At the event, Kamran Kamal, CEO of Hubco, announced that Mega Motors and BYD will set up three flagship stores in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. He also revealed plans to open 20 to 25 dealerships nationwide within the first three years.

Future Goals
Kamal shared that the company’s goal is for one in three Pakistanis to own a BYD car within the next five years. He emphasized that BYD aims to make its vehicles accessible to all potential buyers.
Infrastructure Developments
Furthermore, Kamal announced plans to build a cutting-edge New Energy Vehicle (NEV) assembly plant in Karachi and set up electric car charging stations in major cities and along motorways, addressing concerns about range anxiety.
Charging Infrastructure Enhancements
Kamal also announced plans to improve Pakistan’s charging infrastructure by setting up fast charging stations in major cities and along motorways and highways.
Vehicle Range Capabilities
Liu Xueliang, General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, highlighted that the electric vehicles can cover up to 1,100 kilometers on a single charge. This range is sufficient to travel from Lahore to Karachi without needing to recharge.
Prices
BYD hasn’t revealed the prices of its cars in Pakistan yet.
