Elon Musk is not visiting India

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has delayed his highly awaited trip to India, as reported by CNBC-TV18, citing sources familiar with the situation.

The exact reasons for the postponement are currently unclear, as per a report by an india news media outlet.

Musk had originally planned to visit India on April 21 and 22 for meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to unveil plans for entering the Indian market.

Earlier this month, Musk, aged 52, had announced his upcoming visit to India and his intention to meet with PM Modi, attracting considerable global attention.

Elon Musk was anticipated to unveil plans for investing 2-3 billion dollars to establish a factory in India.

During PM Modi’s visit to the United States in June last year, Elon Musk had a meeting with him. They discussed Musk’s plans to visit India in 2024 and Tesla’s aspirations to enter the Indian market, including the establishment of the long-awaited factory.

During Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the US in June last year, the SpaceX CEO had a meeting with him. At that time, Musk had disclosed his intentions to visit India in 2024. Additionally, he expressed optimism about his electric vehicle company’s imminent entry into the Indian market.
