The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) conducted an operation at Multan Airport and offloaded eight passengers involved in begging.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the suspects were traveling to Saudi Arabia on Umrah visas.
The spokesperson stated that among the arrested passengers were five women. The suspects’ luggage contained 900 cigarette boxes and 70 packets of Velo.

Furthermore, the spokesperson revealed that the suspects were from Lodhran and Multan and each had less than 500 riyals in their possession.
The FIA spokesperson added that the suspects were unable to satisfy immigration officials regarding their Umrah purpose. The arrested individuals have been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Multan for further legal action.
