The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting under Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb’s chairmanship on Tuesday in Islamabad approved a technical supplementary grant of about Rs17 billion for the Ministry of Communications.
The ECC has also approved the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Professional Skills and Capacity Building Brief.
According to the sources, anti-trafficking measures under the FBR transformation plan were reviewed in the meeting.

In the ECC meeting, a grant of Rs1.32 billion was given to the Election Commission to conduct local body elections in the provinces and Islamabad.
ECC also approves conditional 5 summaries related to FBR Transformation Plan, moreover ECC also declared conditional approval of professional skills and organisational capacity building of FBR.
Furthermore, ECC Also approved the summary of performance management regime of FBR officers.
