By WEB DESK: The prominent female leader of the PTI, Dr Yasmeen Rashid has been admitted to Sevices Hospital.
She is having pain in her stomach and abdomen, and tests are being conducted on her. Dr Yasmin Rashid will be kept under observation for 24 hours.
The sources further stated that due to extreme heat, Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s condition deteriorated, and a decision would be made upon receiving the report whether to admit Yasmin Rashid to the hospital or discharge her after administering medication.
Yasmin Rashid’s lawyer, Rana Mudasir, stated here that Dr. Yasmin Rashid’s condition in jail has worsened significantly since yesterday, and she has not been provided with medical treatment facilities.
He said that due to the intensity of heat and contaminated water in the jail cell, Yasmin Rashid’s condition deteriorated yesterday afternoon, despite continuous vomiting and stomach issues, she was not provided with medical treatment.

He mentioned that today Yasmin Rashid lost consciousness in the jail and was brought to the hospital from the jail in an ambulance, where doctors say Yasmin Rashid is showing symptoms of diarrhea and gastroenteritis.
Due to the severe heat, the Inspector General of Prisons ordered the installation of air coolers in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
On the other hand, Fawad Chaudhry stated in his statement regarding Yasmin Rashid’s deteriorating health that she is 70 years old and is suffering from cancer, yet she has been kept in jail for a year.
He said it is regrettable that Yasmin Rashid is not being provided with basic healthcare facilities and injustice is being highlighted.
