Preliminary investigations suggest that the motive behind the attempted murder was rooted in a family dispute, with reports indicating that Sania’s decision to marry of her own choice had sparked the conflict.
The girl’s father, Barkat Ali, and her cousin, Muhammad Amin, have been arrested in connection with the incident. Both have been handed over to the Chuhng Police Station for further questioning.
Local police have launched an investigation into the case, with officials stating that additional details will be revealed as the inquiry progresses.
