By MUMBAI: Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has been named the highest-paid actress of 2024, surpassing prominent peers like Kangana Ranaut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra. Notably, no South Indian actresses made the list.
Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child, reportedly earns between Rs. 15 and Rs. 30 crores per film, according to a Forbes list compiled with IMDb assistance. Kangana Ranaut, an actress-turned-politician, follows her, earning between Rs. 15 and Rs. 27 crores per film. Priyanka Chopra Jonas ranks third, commanding fees between Rs. 15 and Rs. 25 crores per film.
Katrina Kaif holds the fourth position, with reports suggesting she charges between Rs. 15 and Rs. 25 crores per film. Alia Bhatt, at number six, is rumored to earn between Rs. 10 and Rs. 20 crores per film.

Other actresses on the list include Kareena Kapoor Khan, who charges Rs. 8 to Rs. 18 crores per movie; Shraddha Kapoor, with fees ranging from Rs. 7 to Rs. 15 crores per film; and Vidya Balan, who earns between Rs. 8 and Rs. 14 crores per film.
The Top 10 highest-paid actresses of 2024 are rounded off by Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Anushka reportedly charges Rs. 8 to Rs. 12 crores per film, while Aishwarya asks for Rs. 10 crores per film.
Currently, Deepika and Alia are engaged in several high-profile projects. Deepika will appear later this month in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. She is also working on a Hollywood film, Singham 3, and other projects. Alia, meanwhile, has signed a project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is set to release Jigra this year. She will star in Love and War alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor.
