Deadly attack hits Turkish aerospace industries headquarters near Ankara.
Turkey’s Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, confirmed on Wednesday that a deadly attack took place at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAS) in Kahramankazan, near Ankara. Yerlikaya shared on social media platform X that the attack resulted in casualties and injuries.
Explosions and gunfire erupt at TUSAS
Media reports indicated a loud explosion followed by an exchange of gunfire at the TUSAS site. While the cause of the explosion remains unclear, some sources speculated it could have been a suicide attack. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, according to the state-run Anadolu Agency.
