The dairy farmers of Karachi have rejected the Dairy and Cattle Farmers’ announcement of an increase in milk prices up to Rs300.

Shabbir Dar, the spokesperson for the Dairy Farmers Association, rejected the Dairy and Cattle Farmers’ announcement, stating that they will continue selling milk at the price set by the Karachi Commissioner.

In addition, the spokesperson said that the supply of milk in the city is being affected due to heatstroke, animal deaths, and reduced production. However, milk is still being sold at 220 rupees per liter, not 300 rupees per liter.

He also stated that the dairy farms have no connection with the demands of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association.
