LAHORE: Counterfeit medications for depression and essential life-saving medicines are being sold in Punjab it has been revealed.
According to 24 News, counterfeit medicines eye infections, women’s specific ailments, mental illnesses, and blood cancer, are being sold in the province.
According to the details, the Primary Health Department has seized several counterfeit medicines being sold in Punjab.
Other counterfeit medicines include those used to prevent seizures in patients with mental illnesses, injections for patients suffering from blood cancer, and injections for treating various infections in the body.
Samples of 12 life-saving drugs have failed testing at the Drug Testing Lab. Authorities have ordered the immediate removal of the fake medicines from the market.
