Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday that if the Constitution mandates the existence of a constitutional court, it must be accepted. He reiterated that the primary responsibility of the court is to uphold and enforce the Constitution and the law.

He made those comments while addressing lawyers at the Balochistan High Court Bar.
Criticism of Iftikhar Chaudhry
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari added further that the state has increasingly taken on a paternal role rather than a maternal one, criticising figures like Iftikhar Chaudhry for undermining the judiciary. He further noted that the judiciary has consistently launched attacks on the parliament.
