The conference opened with a tribute to the Shuhadas, including officers, soldiers, and civilians, who sacrificed their lives for peace and stability in Pakistan.
Counterterrorism Efforts
COAS praised the Pakistan Army and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for their success in foiling terrorist plots and eliminating key militants. He emphasized the need to deny terrorists any operational space and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism.
Response to Regional Threats
The forum strongly condemned the recent attack on Chinese nationals in Besham and the killings in Balochistan. It highlighted the threats from terrorist groups in Afghanistan, especially against the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Solidarity with Kashmir and Palestine
Discussions included India’s aggressive stance in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and extended support for the Kashmiri and Palestinian people against human rights violations.
