The price of cement across Pakistan has seen a slight drop for the second consecutive week, with the cost of a bag now ranging between Rs1490 to Rs1500. In late September, northern cities reported an average price of Rs1497 per bag, showing a 0.74% decrease from the previous week’s price of Rs1510.
The southern region also experienced a small decline in prices.
In the north, Islamabad recorded Rs1459 per bag, while Rawalpindi saw Rs1449. Gujranwala and Sialkot both priced at Rs1500, with Lahore being the highest at Rs1530. Faisalabad stood at Rs1510, and Multan and Sargodha both at Rs1503.

Bahawalpur’s price was Rs1500, and Peshawar recorded Rs1543. Bannu was at Rs1470.
In the southern region, Karachi had a price of Rs1340, while Hyderabad was slightly lower at Rs1333. Sukkur reported Rs1450, Larkana Rs1400, and Quetta Rs1430.
These price fluctuations may impact construction costs in different areas of the country.
