The Capital Development Authority (CDA) successfully auctioned five commercial plots for Rs11 billion on the first day of its auction, held on Tuesday. Investors showed strong interest due to several incentives provided by the CDA, including a relaxed payment plan and discounts for upfront payments.
Key Plots Auctioned:
- Plot No. 13-G at F-8 Markaz: Sold for Rs1.22 billion.
- Plot No. 16-D at F-8 Markaz: Auctioned for Rs1.24 billion.
- Plot No. 4-D at G-8 Markaz: Sold for Rs598.3 million.
- Plot No. 10 in Blue Area G-8: Fetched Rs5.35 billion.
- Plot No. I-B in I-8 Centre: Sold for Rs2.5 billion.

CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa expressed satisfaction with the turnout, stating that the active participation reflects investor confidence in the authority’s policies.
The payment plan for commercial plots has been extended to two years, with possession granted after 75% of the payment is made. Investors can receive a 10% discount for upfront payments and an additional 5% discount for dollar payments.
The auction, offering plots in prime locations across Islamabad, will continue on October 2 and 3, providing more opportunities for investors.
