A case has been registered against an individual accused of making offensive comments about President Asif Ali Zardari in Hafizabad.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident occurred at Raja Chowk during President Zardari’s birthday celebration.

The complainant, Master Saqib, reported that a shopkeeper, Zulfikar Ali Butt, used derogatory language against the president. When Saqib attempted to intervene and stop Butt from making such remarks, Butt allegedly assaulted him with the butt of a pistol, causing injury.

In response to the incident, the PPP Secretary General filed a petition in court.

After hearing the arguments, the court directed the police to register a case against the accused.
