As the second week of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta progresses, players have received a new update primarily addressing XP adjustments and bug fixes. Notably, the update does not introduce new content apart from the return of the Scud map to the Core Moshpit playlist.
Enthusiasts of the beta have eagerly anticipated the introduction of the new Gunfight mode, a staple of the series making its debut in Black Ops 6. The mode, which pits two teams of two against each other with randomized, identical loadouts on small maps, will be available shortly, although its release will come slightly later than some had hoped.
Gunfight, initially launched in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), has since featured in several Call of Duty titles, including Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare 2 and 3. Its return to the franchise has been highly anticipated, with players looking forward to the new maps and potential enhancements in Black Ops 6.
