A resident of California, Ken Wilson, learned that he had been paying his neighbor’s electricity bill for two decades.
Moreover, the revelation came after Wilson noticed an unusually high bill and took steps to reduce his electricity usage.
Despite his efforts, the bills remained high, prompting him to investigate further. To his shock, he discovered that he had been inadvertently covering his neighbor’s charges.

In addition, the utility company explained that this mix-up occurred due to the electric meter being incorrectly installed.
