The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has denied issuing any statement regarding the resumption of flights to European countries. PCCA further added that any media reports on this issue should be considered mere speculation.

According to the aviation authority, a high-level delegation comprising PCAA senior officials, led by the Secretary Aviation/DG CAA, left for Brussels on May 12 to attend the meeting of the Air Safety Committee regarding the resumption of flights of Pakistani airlines. The important meeting is set to be held today.

“The outcome of the meeting will be communicated by the European Commission in due course,” the PCAA further said. It advised that such speculation should be avoided in the interest of the country.
