The price of gold in Pakistan reached an all-time high of Rs268,500 per tola on Thursday, according to the Karachi Sarafa Association. This marks an increase of Rs800 compared to Wednesday’s rate.

Additionally, the price of 24-karat gold for 10 grammes rose by Rs685, reaching Rs230,195.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with 24-karat silver selling at Rs2,950 per tola and Rs2,529 per 10 grammes.

Separately, The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw a significant rise today, reaching over 82,000 points for the first time in its history. The KSE-100 index opened at 80,461 points and quickly gained ground, rising by 1.57% or 1,266 points to 81,727 by 10:15am.
