Suzuki Every set to replace Bolan in Pakistan

For the past three years, rumors have circulated about the arrival of the locally assembled Suzuki Every in Pakistan. Every year, there have been reports hinting at its launch, yet none of these have come true.

Initially, the vehicle was expected in 2022, but as 2023 progressed, hopes shifted to either late 2023 or early 2024. Now, as 2024 nears its end, sources once again suggest that Pakistan Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) may introduce the Suzuki Every soon.

According to recent information, the company plans to host an internal event this month, possibly attended by dealers, with the official launch of the mini MPV expected in the second week of October.

The Suzuki Every will replace the long-serving Bolan, a vehicle that has dominated the market for years. This change follows a Lahore High Court order, which directed the Engineering Development Board (EDB) to ensure all manufacturers produce vehicles equipped with airbags.

Although the deadline for airbags was extended until mid-2023, the Bolan is still being sold without them. By mid-2024, airbags will be mandatory in all cars, meaning vehicles like the Bolan will be phased out, paving the way for safer models such as the Suzuki Every.

However, the exact version of the Suzuki Every that will be introduced remains unclear.
