KARACHI: Saudi oil giant, Aramco, is set to expand its branded retail fuel stations in Pakistan by setting up a new fuel station in the country’s largest city Karachi.
The world’s leading oil company will open a new fuel station in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Johar area, taking the Aramco-branded stations in Pakistan to fourth.
Earlier, Aramco established its fuel station in Lahore and two in the federal capital Islamabad, offering branded premium fuel to enhance the consumer experience.
Aramco’s Executive Vice President of Products and Customers Yasser M. Mufti confirmed the development saying “This is another milestone in Aramco’s downstream growth story, as we launch the first Aramco station in Pakistan — a market with significant growth potential.”
In a statement, Yasser said that Aramco’s core values of excellence, innovation, and community partnerships would drive the company’s operations in the region.
CEO of GO- one of Pakistan’s largest retail and storage companies- Khalid Riaz highlighted the partnership’s ambition with Aramco. “Together with Aramco, we aim to elevate the retail fuel landscape in Pakistan, setting new benchmarks for quality, service, and customer satisfaction,” Khalid Riaz said.
Aramco to open fuel station in Islamabad
Earlier in November, Aramco opened its second fuel station in Islamabad after the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) approved Aramco’s 40 percent equity stake acquisition in Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd.
The Aramco-branded stations in Pakistan offer an array of premium services including branded premium fuel, an EV charging point, a modern convenience store, a service station, and a tyre shop.
The Saudi oil giant is the world’s leading oil company that produces approximately one in every eight barrels of the world’s oil supply.
