The inflation rate was recorded at 12.57% in June, with urban areas seeing a 0.58% increase in inflation as per the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics report.
Moreover, the report states that inflation rate in June increased by 0.46% compared to May.

According to the report, in June, the price of tomatoes increased by 38%, onions by 20%, pulses by 10%, chicken by 8%, and fresh fruits by 4%.
Prices of flour, eggs, rice, and sugar decreased in June, while the price of cooking oil also decreased slightly.
