KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Tuesday in line with their increase in the international market.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that gold price per tola soared Rs276,000 after a single-day increase of Rs1,000 in the local market.
The 10-gram gold was sold at Rs236,625 after it registered an increase of Rs857, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of gold was also increased in the international market.
As per APGJSA, the rate was at $2,642 per ounce (with a premium of $20) after it gained $10 during the day.
