KARACHI: On the last day of the business week, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decline, dropping by more than Rs1,000 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of one tola of gold decreased by Rs1,046, bringing it down to Rs299,000.
Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold fell by $8, reaching $2,861 per ounce.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, gold prices had surged by Rs. 1,346 per tola, surpassing the Rs300,000 mark.
