Gold prices in Pakistan increase massively on Saturday, mirroring global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,600 per tola, reaching Rs275,500. Additionally, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,372, now at Rs236,197.
Gold Surges Massively in Pakistan Amid Global Market Gains
In the global market, gold prices surged by $16 per ounce, with the rate standing at $2,656. Despite this upward trend in gold, the silver market remained stable, with prices holding firm at Rs3,050 per tola.
Gold prices in Pakistan hit a record high of Rs277,000 per tola last month, driven by fluctuations in the global market. Analysts suggest that continued uncertainty in international economic conditions is pushing the precious metal’s value higher.
