After multiple record highs during the week, gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline on Friday.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs300 per tola, settling at Rs276,700. The price for 10 grams also dropped by Rs256, bringing it to Rs237,226.

On Thursday, the precious metal hit an all-time high, reaching Rs277,700 per tola.

Meanwhile, in the international market, spot gold remained steady at $2,670.50 per ounce after reaching a record $2,685.42 the previous day. So far this year, global gold prices have surged by over 29 per cent.
