Gold prices in Pakistan significantly decreased for the second day in a row on Wednesday, with the rate per tola falling by Rs1,400 to close at Rs260,100, reflecting a similar trend in the international market.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs1,200, bringing it to Rs222,994.

Similarly, the global gold market experienced a downward trend, with the international price of gold dropping by $17 to $2,481 per ounce, as noted by the APGJSA.
In addition, silver prices in the local market witnessed a notable decrease, falling by Rs50 to Rs2,900 per tola after a prolonged period of stability.
Furthermore, the fluctuations in gold prices in the local market continue to be driven by global market trends, along with domestic factors such as currency exchange rates and local demand.
