Gold prices in Pakistan fell further on Monday, following a drop in international rates. In the local market, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs500, bringing it to Rs275,500.
Similarly, 10 grams of gold was sold for Rs236,197 after a decline of Rs428, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price had already fallen by Rs700, settling at Rs276,000.
Meanwhile, the international gold rate also declined on Monday. According to APGJSA, it stood at $2,653 per ounce (with a premium of $20), down by $4 for the day.
Silver prices remained stable at Rs3,050 per tola.
Notably, last week, gold prices reached a record high of Rs277,000 per tola in Pakistan.
