Gold prices in Pakistan dropped sharply on Tuesday, reflecting a decline in international markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000, bringing it to Rs274,700. Similarly, the price for 10-gram gold declined by Rs857, settling at Rs235,511.

On Monday gold prices rose by Rs200 to reach Rs275,700 per tola.

Internationally, gold prices also dipped, with the rate standing at $2,647 per ounce, a $9 decrease from the previous day.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained stable at Rs3,050 per tola.

In September , gold had reached an all-time high of Rs277,000 per tola in Pakistan.
