Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Saturday, reversing consecutive gains, in line with a decline in international market rates.

Moreover, in the local market, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs2,000, settling at Rs261,500.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs1,714, bringing it to Rs224,194, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

In addition, this comes after a rise of Rs1,400 on Friday, where gold closed at Rs263,500.

International gold prices also dipped on Saturday, with APGJSA reporting the rate at $2,497 per ounce (including a $20 premium), marking a $21 decrease for the day.

Additionally, Silver prices followed suit, dropping by Rs50 to Rs2,850 per tola.

Furthermore, last month, gold prices in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola.
