KARACHI: The price of gold in the country saw a significant increase of Rs2,300 on Wednesday, after falling for two consecutive days.
The increase can be attributed to the increase in gold prices in the international market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, after this rise, the price of one tola of gold has reached Rs288,700.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,972, bringing it to Rs247,513.
On the other hand, the price of gold in the international market has increased by $22, reaching $7,263 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
It is noteworthy that just yesterday, the price of gold in the country had decreased by a large amount of Rs2,700 per tola.
