The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the Indian government’s approval will determine whether the national cricket team travels to Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy, set to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025.
The BCCI vice-president clarified that no decision has been reached yet and that the board always seeks government permission for international tours.

In addition, the BCCI is preparing for the IPL mega auction, scheduled for late November. The exact venue for the auction has not been finalized, and discussions are ongoing about whether it will be held in India or overseas.
Previous auctions, including the last one in Dubai, attracted significant interest and attendance, prompting the board to consider various options for hosting the event.
