The Balochistan government has withheld salaries of all unverified employees for the month of October, and has ordered immediate action against these individuals.
The provincial finance department has ordered officials concerned to identify all ghost employees in government departments.
The officials concerned have been directed to submit the complete list of verified employees to the office of the Accountant General and the District Finance.
The provincial government has withheld salaries for the month of October for all ghost employees. Only employees whose name appears on the verified list will have their monthly salary disbursed.
Departments and officers who have not yet submitted the verified lists have been told to submit them to the Accountant General’s Office and District Finance Offices by October 28.
The government warned that the salaries of all unverified employees for the month of October won’t be disbursed to their accounts.
