Pakistan’s movie actor Babrik Shah criticised actors Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi for their performance in The Legend of Maula Jatt.
In a show, he called them “burgers,” saying that they did not speak proper Punjabi and did not know the pitch of Punjabi dialogue, making them unsuitable for the characters.
He said, “They are from a burger family. Now, just imagine a guy from a burger family trying to speak Punjabi.”

“It had a very mummy-daddy style, lacking that true masculine essence,” he added.
He further stated that Maula Jatt was great for its era and that the movie should never have been remade.
Despite the criticism, the film became the highest-grossing Pakistani film of all time, reaching new milestones as it made Rs 1 billion at the domestic box office and $10 million at the worldwide box office.
