The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently updated the Test player rankings, resulting in significant changes for several players. Babar Azam, previously a fixture in the top 10 batsmen, has fallen to 12th place following a disappointing performance in the Bangladesh Test series, where Pakistan was whitewashed 2-0.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Rizwan has managed to hold on to the 10th position among batsmen, and Joe Root of England has further solidified his position at number one.
In the bowlers’ rankings, no Pakistani players are currently in the top 10. Shaheen Afridi has dropped one spot to 11th.
