Famous Pakistani actress, singer, and host Asma Abbas advises women to leave if their husbands are abusive or hit them in her recent podcast with journalist Maliha Rehman.

Asma Abbas said, “You should never speak in anger. Instead, take a 5-minute break to cool down, and then present your point.” At the same time, she adviced, “Leave when someone uses abusive language or physically abuses you; never tolerate such behavior.”

She said that, nowadays, girls often lack control over their words, while men also use harsh language.

While sharing her life experiences, Asma Abbas said, “In my time, discussions were approached with patience, and we used to sugarcoat our words, but nowadays everything is spontaneous.”

She also talked about her personal life, saying, “I was the second wife of my husband and always respected his first wife; she was a very good women.” She added that her husband entered into a second marriage because he liked her and did not have any children.

Talking about her marriage, Asma Abbas shared with her viewers why she didn’t work in the industry before. She said, “I did not continue working in the industry because my husband didn’t like it, and I was okay with that. I still have no regrets.”

Asma Abbas is a renowned actress, host, singer, and producer. She is the daughter of writer and journalist Ahed Bashir and the sister of the famous actress Bushra Ansari. Her daughter, Zara Noor Abbas, is also a well-known actress in the Pakistani drama industry. Asma Abbas has appeared in numerous dramas, including Dil Lagi, Meeras, and Koi Chand Rakh, as well as in films such as Teefa in Trouble, Maan Jao Na, and Superstar.
