RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir will be hosting an iftar on April 7 in Rawalpindi for the national cricket team, as the Pakistan cricket squad continues its dedicated training at the fitness camp in Kakul.

According to sources, the fitness camp was initially scheduled to conclude on April 8. However, it has been rescheduled to wrap up a day earlier on April 7, with the players then heading directly to Rawalpindi for the iftar event with the army chief during the ongoing holy month of Ramazan.

After the iftar gathering, the players will proceed to their homes in preparation for Eid-ul-Fitr. Currently, the Men in Green are engaged in a rigorous fitness camp in Abbottabad, where they are undergoing training and workouts at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT).
