Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari set to make historic entry into Parliament

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari is poised to step into her parliamentary role officially on Monday.

Scheduled to be sworn in as a member of the National Assembly, this marks her formal entry into the realm of Pakistani politics.

Aseefa’s parliamentary induction signifies another significant chapter in the enduring political narrative of the Bhutto dynasty, a legacy first established by her maternal grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the founding figure of the PPP and a former prime minister.

In following the footsteps of her late mother and grandfather, Aseefa is poised to carry forward their political mantle alongside her elder brother, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
