Arshad Nadeem sets a new Olympic record with a 92.97-meter throw in the men’s javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics.

Pakistan javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem broke the Olympic record with a throw of 92.97m during the Paris 2024 Olympics final at the Stade de France on Thursday. The previous best belonged to Andreas Thordkilsen of Norway, who threw the javelin at a distance of 90.57 metres during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing

The men’s javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics has begun, and the entire nation is focused on Arshad Nadeem, who is Pakistan’s only hope for an Olympic medal after 32 years.

It is worth noting that Pakistan last stepped onto the Olympic medal podium on August 8, 1992, when the national hockey team won the bronze medal by defeating the Netherlands 4-3 at the Barcelona Olympics.
