On Tuesday, Pakistan’s star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem advanced to the finals of the Paris Olympics javelin throw event.

Nadeem surpassed the 84-meter minimum qualifying mark with a throw of 86.59 meters on his first attempt, securing his place in the medal round.

This marks Nadeem’s second consecutive Olympic final, following his notable fifth-place finish in Tokyo.

The javelin throw final is scheduled for August 8.
