Cinegoers can look forward to a thrilling new Punjabi film titled Seylum, featuring Amna Ilyas and Muneeb Butt in lead roles.
The film, produced by Awais Raoof under Jehan Films — the studio behind Shaan Shahid’s Zarrar — is scheduled to begin shooting next week, according to sources close to the project.
Writer and director Abu Aleeha confirmed the film will be shot across various Pakistani locations, including Lahore, Kallar Kahar, Nathiagali, Cholistan, and Bahawalpur. The action-heavy project marks both Muneeb Butt and Amna Ilyas’ debut in Punjabi cinema.

Set for a potential Eidul Fitr release next year, Seylum is anticipated to be the second most expensive Punjabi film to date, following the record-breaking 2022 hit The Legend of Maula Jatt. The film’s full cast is expected to be announced next week.
