On Sunday, the Pakistani High Commission in Dhaka confirmed that all students are safe. Concerns arose earlier today due to the deteriorating law and order situation in Bangladesh, leaving approximately 140 Pakistani students stranded amidst unrest and curfew impositions across various cities.

Amid reports of violent protests in Bangladesh regarding the government job quota system, this statement emerged.

The protests have led to the deaths of more than 100 people, including students, prompting the government to enforce a nationwide curfew and deploy the military to ensure security.
