Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has officially declared a revolution following recent protests in Rawalpindi.
In a strong video message, he addressed the nation, political parties, and state institutions, expressing his frustration over the repeated violations of citizens’ rights and the violent crackdown on demonstrators.
Gandapur accused the authorities of crossing all limits, stating that over 50 workers were injured due to shelling and grenade attacks.
Moreover, the Chief Minister warned that any further violence would be met with retaliation, declaring, “If you fire one bullet, we will fire ten.” He called on all supportive groups to unite and stand firm against oppression, sending a clear message that they are ready to defend themselves.

Gandapur concluded his address by urging institutions to listen to the people or face the consequences, adding, “I am announcing a revolution because there is no other choice left. Enough is enough.”
While reacting to Ali Amin’s video message, Atta Tarar accuses Gandapur of incompetence in running the KP government and trying to repeat the May 9 chaos.
Furthermore, Tarar condemns Gandapur’s shift from verbal attacks to violence, stressing that his actions are far from democratic or parliamentary.
