‘Ali Amin Gandapur betrayed Imran Khan, claimed seat’: Governor Kundi

PESHAWAR: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Faisal Karim Kundi has made startling allegations against Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, claiming betrayal within the ranks of Imran Khan’s political party.

Speaking to the press, Governor Kundi accused Ali Amin Gandapur of attaining his position through treachery against party leader Imran Khan. Furthermore, Governor Kundi highlighted the precarious law and order situation in KP, citing attacks on military and police personnel as evidence.

Expressing discontent with the PTI, Governor Kundi criticised its handling of security matters and suggested that it had facilitated the relocation of terrorists to the region. He stressed the importance of cooperative governance, stressing his commitment to mediate between the provincial government and the federal administration to prevent harm to the province’s residents.

Meanwhile, in an appeal for unity among political leaders, Governor Kundi invited JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to offer guidance and support. He underscored the constitutional rights of citizens to peaceful protest, condemning CM Gandapur’s alleged endorsement of violent tactics.

Moreover, Governor Kundi vowed to advocate vigorously for the interests of KP, seeking recourse through diplomatic channels rather than resorting to street demonstrations. He pledged to promote harmony and advocate for the province’s economic development, calling for a unified effort to reclaim funds owed to the region from the federal government.

Asserting his fearlessness in the face of adversity, Governor Kundi reiterated his commitment to fostering peace and prosperity in KP, highlighting the region’s potential as a tourism destination.
