By The Punjab government has announced that public sector employees will receive their salaries in advance ahead of Eid ul-Adha 2024.
This decision, directed by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aims to provide financial relief to government employees during the festive period. The Finance Department has commenced preparations to ensure that salaries are disbursed by June 13, 2024.

Additionally, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the extension of market timings for Eid. Last week, the Zil Hajj moon was sighted in Pakistan, and Eid will be celebrated on June 17.
