Adil Raja loses legal battle in UK court

A UK court has fined YouTuber Maj (r) Adil Farooq Raja. The case revolves around Adil Raja borrowing £10,000 from an individual. Despite the court’s failure to be convinced of his dire financial situation preventing him from repaying the £10,000, Adil’s plea was rejected, and he was additionally fined £3,000.

Earlier, in April, Raja lost a key stage of his the defamation case to Brigadier (R) Rashid Naseer at UK High Court as the English court judge rejected all his applications including his application to stay a defamation trial progressing against him by Brigadier (retired) Rashid Naseer.

Adil Farooq Raja launched his campaign against the officer on June 14, 2022, using Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook posts. According to court documents, the retired brigadier initiated his case through his UK attorneys on August 11, 2022.

Adil Raja has resided in the UK since April 2022. Brigadier (R) Rashid Naseer was represented by Counsel David Lemer from Doughty Street Chambers, along with Ushrat Sultana and Sadia Qureshi from Stone White Solicitors. Major (R) Adil Farooq Raja was represented by Mahtab Anwar Aziz from Central Chambers Law Solicitors.
