The Punjab government has announced a reduction in the price of 20kg flour by Rs1,300 and set the price of roti from Rs12 to Rs14 across various districts. In Lahore, a loaf will now be available for Rs14.
Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin stated that along with the reduction in the price of a 20kg flour bag, the cost of an 80kg fine flour bag has been slashed by Rs2,770, and a 50kg bag of semolina by Rs1,700.
The price of 10kg of flour has been decreased by Rs600 to Rs700 while the price of 20kg of flour decreased by an average of Rs1,300,” the minister added.

Bilal Yasin further said that a bag of fine flour is now priced at Rs8,230, down from Rs11,000, while the cost of a 50kg semolina bag has been lowered from Rs7,150 to Rs5,450.
