QUETTA: Superstar Mahira Khan displayed remarkable composure after an unsettling incident occurred during her appearance at the Pakistan Literature Festival in Quetta. Despite an object being thrown towards her amidst the crowd of 10,000 attendees, Khan maintained her poise, emphasising the need for more events like this despite such disruptions.
In a video shared on Instagram, Mahira Khan addressed the incident, expressing her disapproval of such behavior. “No one should think it’s ok to throw something on stage, even if it’s a flower wrapped up in a paper plane,” she asserted, highlighting the importance of setting the right precedent and ensuring safety in such situations.
“Whoever the miscreant was, was one out of 10,000. Maybe I should have gotten up and left, maybe the crowd could have been screened, maybe I should not have been put on the spot…lots of could haves and should haves,” the Raees star added
