The Punjab government has decided to conduct the balloting of the Chief Minister bike scheme 2024 this week.

According to details, the provincial Minister for Transport, Bilal Akbar Khan, on Wednesday held a meeting review the progress on the scheme. It should be noted that under the initiative, 20,000 bikes will be provided to deserving students on easy monthly installments.

The minister was informed that more than 100,000 students have submitted applications for the scheme. Later, it was decided that balloting for the Punjab bike scheme 2024 will be held on May 10 (tomorrow).

The provincial transport minister expressed satisfaction with the interest shown by the students. It is pertinent to mention that the government received more applications from female students compared to male.

On the other hand, CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently announced to launch a free motorbike scheme for girls. She made the announcement during the closing ceremony of the Chief Minister Pink Games.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister urged the parents to permit their students to ride motorbikes.
