200,000 patients in Punjab will be provided free medicines at their doorstep following the launch of ‘Free Medicine Delivery Project’. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif officially initiated the project by delivering free medicines to the houses of a couple of cardiac patients.
Furthermore, CM Punjab also inaugurated the Sahulat Markaz at the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, marking the formal restart of the registration process for TB and hepatitis patients.
Maryam Nawaz stated that the provincial government has launched such a mega public welfare project in a short span of eight weeks.
She also criticized the former government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for stopping the medicines home delivery projects. CM Maryam stated that government will deliver free medicines to 200,000 patients at their doorstep.

According to her, hepatitis, TB and cardiac patients will receive two months’ medicines stock. They will be delivered the medicines again after undergoing checkup.
She announced that the air ambulance project will be launched for the poor patients in the coming few weeks. The Chief Minister also emphasized that a state-of-the-art health facility in every city should have cardiology, paediatrics and cancer treatment facilities
